# Manage your waypoints

In this tutorial you will learn how you can manage your waypoints.

## Requirements:

1. A server with LocuCore installed
2. Have at least one waypoint saved (Follow this guide: [Create your first waypoint](/locucore-wiki/tutorial/create-your-first-waypoint.md))

## Edit waypoint information

#### Edit coordintes

1. Open the chat, press T button, and type `/luc edit <waypoint> coordinates <x> <y> <z>` . The tab completer will suggest all your waypoints you own and the position of where you are.
2. Press enter and you've finished!

#### Edit the owner

1. Open the chat, press T button, and type `/luc edit <waypoint> owner <player>` . The tab completer will suggest all your waypoints. The player who get the ownership must have joined once!
2. Press enter and you've finished!

#### Edit the name

1. Open the chat, press T button, and type `/luc edit <waypoint> name <new_name>` . The tab completer will suggest all your waypoints. The name can contain only letters, numbers and can't be longer than 16 characters
2. Press enter and you've finished!

#### Edit the visibility with the command

1. Open the chat, press T button, and type `/luc edit <waypoint> public <true/false>`. If it's public, everyone can see it on the menu and can teleport to it. Vice versa, if it's private you are the unique player who can teleport to it and see it.
2. Press enter and you've finished!

#### Edit the visibility with the menu

1. Open the chat, press T button, type `/luc menu` and press the enter button
2. Click on the compass named *Waypoints*
3. Click on the recovery compass named *Personal Waypoints*
4. if it's private, click on the red shulkerbox, otherwise click on the green one
5. Search the waypoint and then click on it
6. Click on the dye and change the visibility of the waypoint
