# Create your first waypoint

In this tutorial you'll learn how to create a waypoint!

## Requirements:

1. A server with LocuCore installed

## Create the waypoint!

the name can contains only letters, numbers, can't be longer than 16 characters and no spaces.

#### Saving a Waypoint with your exact location

1. Open the chat with the T button and type `/luc set <waypoint>`&#x20;
2. Press enter and you're done!

#### Saving a Waypoint with coordinates

1. Open the chat, press the T button, and type `/luc set <waypoint> <x> <y> <z>` . It will be a tab completer which will suggest your position in that moment.
2. Press enter and you're good to go!

## That's it!

Now you've created you're first waypoint and you can see it and manage it through the Menu!
